Rooted & Built Co. is a remodeling company based in North Texas, serving homeowners across Collin and Denton Counties. We take on whole rooms — kitchens and bathrooms rebuilt from the studs out — and the carpentry, flooring, painting and finish work that carries them.
We built this business for the people who live here: families in Celina and Prosper finishing out builder-grade homes, owners in Frisco and McKinney fixing what was rushed, and longtime residents in Plano and Allen updating houses that have decades left in them. If you need a single door re-trimmed or a full multi-trade remodel coordinated under one point of contact, the work is the same — done right, with real materials, and an itemized quote before we start.

Joey started Rooted & Built Co. after years of watching neighbors get burned. Contractors who took the deposit and disappeared. Crews who promised a two-week kitchen and left a family without a stove for two months. Quotes that grew every time a wall came down.
He had spent his career in the trades and knew the work could be done differently — not faster, not cheaper, just honestly. Show up when you say. Quote it itemized before you start. Finish the seams nobody sees. Rooted & Built was built to be the company a neighbor actually recommends, not the one they warn you about.
The name comes from Colossians 2:7 — rooted and built up. It's the standard the company is held to: grounded in a community we live in, and built to hold up long after the crew has packed up.
Joey doesn't build alone. Jose runs the crews in the field, and the carpenters, tile setters and painters who work alongside him are the reason the finish work looks the way it does. Many of them have been on the same jobs together for years — which is exactly why the seams between trades don't show.
